Mooer has built guitar effects since 2010 out of its factory in Shenzhen, China, and the Ocean Machine sits at the heart of its digital product range as a collaboration with Devin Townsend. The Mooer MEP-OM Ocean Machine is a high-fidelity Delay, Reverb and Looper unit that brings together premium hardware and complex algorithms for lush effects, built to meet Devin Townsend's own requirements while staying versatile and enjoyable for musicians of every kind. It offers two main operating modes: Play mode, where every parameter tracks its physical control knob like a traditional pedal, and Patch mode, which recalls saved presets with parameter values held at the recalled setting until you move a knob.
Highlights
- 9 reverb types plus a shimmer effect, including Room, Hall, Plate, Dist Verb, Fl-Verb, Filter, Reverse, Spring and Mod
- 2 independent delays (Delay A and Delay B) spanning 15 delay types between them
- 0-2 seconds of delay time with an optional ping-pong effect
- Play mode (traditional knob-per-parameter control) and Patch mode (recallable presets)
- Delay voicings span digital, analogue-style, tape, pitch-shifted and modulated repeats
