2000 Gibson Les Paul Standard Millennium Edition Sparkle Top is a rare, limited-run electric guitar produced by Gibson in early 2000 to commemorate the turn of the millennium.

This guitar comes to us with the following changes from original:

• Chrome Hardware all replaced with the Gibson Gold Hardware equivalent
• Standard Truss Rod Cover replaced with Gibson Custom Truss Rod Cover.
• Has Original case with one broken latch
• Has Nitro Burn from a guitar hanger on the neck shoulders ( See Pics )
• Has scratches and small chips, some crazing on headstock nothing major. ( See Pics )
• Original Gibson Paperwork with extra writing on it.
• Original Creme pickguard and extra black pickguard with gold all parts pickguard mount, still in packaging.

• Body: Solid mahogany back and sides with a maple top. 
• Finish: Bold metallic sparkle treatments
• Neck: Mahogany with a slim-taper profile and a rosewood fingerboard featuring trapezoid inlays.
• Scale Length: 24.75 inches. 
• Pickups: Original Gibson humbuckers (typically 490R rhythm and 498T treble on the Millennium release).
• Hardware: Gold or chrome hardware, Grover Rotomatic tuners, and a Nashville tune-o-matic bridge with a stop-bar tailpiece.
• Rarity: Production numbers were very low—estimated by collectors to be between 25 and 50 units per colorway.
