The LD Systems MAUI 28 G3 MIX is a compact cardioid column PA system with a built-in digital mixer, delivering 2060W peak power and 127 dB maximum SPL. It combines a 12-inch subwoofer for deep, punchy bass down to 37Hz with 12 x 3.5-inch full-range midrange speakers and 2 x 1-inch high-frequency drivers on a curved waveguide, giving 120-degree horizontal by 30-degree vertical dispersion. The passive cardioid column provides up to 18dB of attenuation to the rear between 100Hz and 1kHz for controlled sound on stage. A digital 6-channel mixer with mic/Hi-Z/line inputs, on-board effects and a footswitch input removes the need for a separate mixing console, and the system can be controlled remotely via the free MAUI app in Easy or Expert mode. Two MAUI 28 G3 MIX units can be linked via SysLink to double the number of mixer channels for stereo setups, and it also streams audio directly via Bluetooth. Automatic setup detection and stand/cable-free assembly are designed for quick deployment, with a rugged birch plywood subwoofer housing finished in durable polyurea coating and a lightweight, powder-coated aluminium column housing.
