With original late-1970s Op-Amp Big Muffs selling for exorbitant prices, Electro-Harmonix reissued the Op-Amp Big Muff Pi - sometimes called the IC or V4 Big Muff - at a price players could afford. The circuitry has been faithfully re-created, with practical enhancements including a compact die-cast chassis and true bypass switching. The pedal was popularised by Billy Corgan, who first used it on the Smashing Pumpkins' 1993 album Siamese Dream; after being filmed playing and talking about the reissue, Corgan said, "The magic's still in the box, I can still get what I'm looking for!" Big Muff collector and historian Kit Rae has described its tone as "a huge, crushing Big Muff sound with more crunch... great for grungy, wall-of-sound distortion, heavy rhythm playing and heavy leads."

Free shipping is not available to WA, NT, TAS, or New Zealand. Freight charges for these locations will be displayed in your cart on checkout. If your delivery address is rural or our couriers can't service your area, we will ship via Australia Post. International shipping is currently limited to Revv Amplification products for New Zealand, with freight calculated at checkout. Purchasers are responsible for all incoming taxes and customs charges.
