The Electro-Harmonix Nano Bass Balls uses two narrow filters that sweep your tone under the control of an envelope, generating unique vocal-like sounds, with a distortion switch adding harmonic enrichment and a response control varying the sweep range according to your attack. Designed for bass, it is also funky on guitar. The resonant frequencies are engineered into the strongest harmonics of the bass guitar's range, and Bass Balls responds to every note, with a sweep that is widely variable. It comes housed in a small die-cast case with rounded corners to save pedalboard space, and a footswitch selects between your original signal and the filtered Bass Balls output.
