IDEAL FOR:
A highly portable rig when paired with V30 The Jack MKII and VX The Kraken MKII. Will also work with The Sheriff 25, Sheriff 44 and V40 Deluxe.
SPEAKER CHARACTERISTICS:
The Vintage 30 is a very efficient (100dB), relatively powerful, large-magnet (Ceramic, 50 ounce) 12-inch driver. Clear highs, projecting upper mids and strong bottom end make it a favourite with players who like modern gained sounds and/or high headroom cleans with minimal speaker breakup/distortion. Despite the name, we find it less āvintageā sounding for medium gain/classic rock than either of the Celestion Creamback drivers in our other cabs. The high sensitivity/efficiency rating makes the absolute most of every watt you throw at it so your amp will sound ālouderā compared to using a Creamback 65.
Itās a good choice if you want maximum power, punch, clarity and headroom.
UK MADE CABINETS
Our speaker cabinets are hand built in England using redwood pine for top and sides and quality Baltic birch ply for backs and baffles. Our speaker baffles are angled back by 2-3 degrees to help with projection towards you when youāre playing. Theyāre finished in black bronco vinyl (cream for the V112C and V212VC) with vintage black woven grille cloth to match aesthetically ā and of course tonally ā with our heads.
