The RODE Podcaster is a dynamic, end-address USB microphone that combines broadcast-quality audio with the simplicity of USB connectivity, recording direct to a computer without an additional digital interface. An 18-bit resolution, 8-48kHz sampling A/D converter processes the analogue-to-digital conversion internally, bypassing the computer's on-board sound controller. A headphone output on the microphone body provides zero-latency monitoring, and an internal pop filter minimises plosives that can overload the capsule and distort the output. The Podcaster is compatible with Windows 7, Windows 8, Mac OS X and several Linux distributions, is bus powered with a status LED to indicate operation, and suits podcasting, vodcasting, YouTube videos, voice recognition software, corporate video and other voice-over applications. It can also be used as an iPad microphone with the iPad Camera Connection Kit and a powered USB hub for apps such as GarageBand. The Podcaster is designed and made in Australia and covered by RODE's 10-year warranty.

What are the shipping costs for WA, NT, TAS, and New Zealand?
Free shipping is not available to WA, NT, TAS, or New Zealand. Freight charges for these locations will be displayed in your cart on checkout. If your delivery address is rural or our couriers can't service your area, we will ship via Australia Post. International shipping is currently limited to Revv Amplification products for New Zealand, with freight calculated at checkout. Purchasers are responsible for all incoming taxes and customs charges.
How long does shipping take?

Please allow up to 10 working days for delivery to Western Australia. Deliveries are sent via courier, and you will receive tracking information via email when your order is dispatched.
