The NU-X Mini Core Series Tube Man MK11 offers a genuine tube-like sound with more gain than your average Tube Screamer. Rather than the OP-AMP diode-clipping circuit used in the original Tube Screamer-style pedals, it uses an FET Transistor System to bring out harmonic attributes and break up the distortion into a finer grit, the way a real tube does.
Highlights
- FET Transistor System for genuine tube-like overdrive character
- More gain and harmonic richness than an OP-AMP-based Tube Screamer-style circuit
- Superbly dynamic response with crisp, precise clarity that cuts through a dense mix
- Rhythm tone stays open and expressive without losing fat mid-range
- Luminous knobs for checking settings on a dark stage
