The Mooer MEP-ENV Envelope is a pocket-sized envelope filter and dynamic auto-wah with a big tone and plenty of versatility. Its sensitivity control lets you dial the effect in to respond to your playing dynamics and the pickups of whatever instrument you plug in, covering exaggerated slap-back funk, subtle sultry ambience and static frequency filter effects. The fully analogue circuit gives a lush, warm sound, and the wide-ranging controls make Envelope equally at home on guitar or bass.
Highlights
- Sensitivity control shapes the filter's dynamic response to pick attack
- Q control narrows or widens the wah frequency band, from subtle to exaggerated
- Decay control adjusts how quickly the filter closes
- Tone control shifts overall frequency range, from bright to round (rounder settings suit bass)
- 100% analogue circuit for a warm, lush sound
- True bypass switching preserves signal integrity when off
