Finished in Sky Veil Matte, the Ibanez SR300E carries forward the SR line's smooth, fast neck, lightweight body and closely matched electronics that have defined the series for 30 years. A Nyatoh body provides a rich mid-low end, while the 5pc Maple/Walnut neck adds tonal clarity and a strong attack. PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups deliver a stronger signal with extended top-end response without sacrificing low end, and a 3-way Power Tap switch moves between a full humbucker sound, a pure single-coil sound, and an enhanced single-coil voice fattened by the humbucker's lows.
Highlights
- 5pc Maple/Walnut neck for tonal clarity and superior attack
- Nyatoh body for a rich mid-low tonal character
- Jatoba fretboard with a 305mm radius and white dot inlays
- PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups with exposed pole pieces for stronger, more detailed output
- Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ with 3-way Power Tap switch for three distinct tonal voices
- Accu-cast B120 bridge traps the saddles for perfect directional uniformity
