Onboard is a neodymium humbucker driven by a newly designed 18-volt three-band active preamp, giving clean headroom from modern punch through to classic, vintage tones, plus a treble EQ for dialling in extra brightness. First introduced in 1976 and still the flagship of the Music Man line, the StingRay keeps its solid, roadworthy construction, oval pickguard and 3+1 headstock layout intact.
