Featuring a larger 12" kick pad and a 12" hi-hat, it offers a realistic playing feel for beginners and advanced players alike. Ideal for playing at home, in the rehearsal room, or at small gigs, the EFNOTE 3A remains just as powerful and user-friendly as its predecessor thanks to its proven sound module.
Elaborately produced multilayer samples ensure the outstandingly lifelike sound. Each of the 111 factory sounds consists of 127 individual samples, achieving an exceptionally high dynamic range. All sounds are editable, and 50 user memories are available for your own creations.
The compact sound module has a sturdy metal housing and is operated via a touchscreen LCD display. Its clearly structured menu allows even inexperienced users quick access to all functions and settings. The sounds can be tuned, muffled, and EQed. There's also a virtual mixer, allowing you to individually adjust the volume of the sounds and route them to any output.
The integrated metronome and rhythm box are ideal for practicing. Songs and play-alongs can also be streamed to the module via Bluetooth. The EFNOTE 3 module also has a built-in USB audio interface, allowing eight tracks to be digitally transferred to a computer. With two analog outputs, the EFNOTE 3 is equally suitable for live performances, studio use, and teaching.
The mesh-headed snare and tom pads each have three sensors underneath their playing surfaces. This multi-trigger technology ensures unparalleled sensitivity and extremely precise response. The snare also features a third playing surface. This allows for 100% precise separation between cross stick and rim shot. This completely eliminates the possibility of accidental triggering. The kick pad is equipped with two triggers, making it ideal for use with a double bass drum pedal.
The cymbal pads, including the hi-hat, can be played from all sides, 360°. This eliminates the need for a device to prevent the cymbal from twisting. The crash and ride cymbals are generally triple-zone pads, meaning the rim, the flat, and the bell can be played. Furthermore, all cymbal pads feature a choke function for manual stopping.
The innovative hi-hat pedal, which detects its position not via a conventional sliding contact but instead uses an optical sensor, ensures accurate and highly sensitive playing. A weight attached to the pedal mimics the hi-hat top cymbal, thus creating a realistic playing feel.
