The UFIP 12-inch Supernova Splash Cymbal is part of UFIP's Supernova Series, developed over two years of testing different material, weight, shape, hammering and finishing combinations. It offers a fast response with a crystal-clear, glassy tone, and while not overly powerful, has a dynamic, contemporary sound suited to Hip Hop, Drum and Bass, Funk and other urban genres. It's made from sheet bronze using an innovative hand-hammering procedure with fast rotation, finished to a brilliant, hand-polished surface, and positioned as a professional-level cymbal.
