Joey Jordison designed his Pearl Signature Snare Drum for a powerful, cracking snare tone. It is a 'Power Piccolo' snare with a black powder-coated 1mm steel shell, a smaller 13-inch diameter and an extended 6.5-inch depth, built to react to each stroke with increased sensitivity and attack. Black Superhoop II hoops and Masters double-ended CL-65B lugs complete the black shell.
