Eric Gales serves up some of the tastiest licks in the business, and the MXR Raw Dawg Overdrive was designed to give him just the right seasoning when it's time to turn up the heat. It's a custom circuit based on a classic overdrive famous for its grit and crunch, with the midrange balanced out and the gain bumped up for a sweeter, more natural sound even when cranked. A simple three-knob interface of Output, Tone, and Drive controls is all you need to dial in your own tone, and it's built into an MXR mini housing for a pedalboard-friendly footprint.
