This Meinl Percussion Mini Baltic Birch Cajon carries the features of a full-size cajon in a miniature format, with internal fixed snare wires and an extra-thin front plate that responds to the lightest finger rolls. At around 14 cm tall, it's roughly a sixth the size of a normal cajon, small enough to sit on a desk or coffee table while still being fun to tap on or carry around. It's built from birch wood, valued for its musical tone in drum shell construction, with a Baltic birch frontplate and a 5-ply, 6 mm Baltic birch resonating body.
