Over the course of 1969 and 1970, Jimi Hendrix appeared at some of his most noted live shows — Woodstock, Berkeley and the Fillmore East — using a mysterious red Fuzz Face Distortion with white knobs that sounded like a completely different animal from any of the other Fuzz Face pedals in his arsenal, snarling with a far more aggressive, biting tone. That pedal has been lost to history, but Dunlop's engineers pored over the different circuit designs Hendrix used over the years and narrowed the tone down to a version of the Octavio circuit without the octave-up signal, then made a few tweaks to nail the sound in the Band of Gypsys Fuzz Face Mini Distortion. It comes in a pedalboard-friendly Fuzz Face Mini housing, complete with an on/off status LED, an AC power jack and a battery door for modern convenience.

Free shipping is not available to WA, NT, TAS, or New Zealand. Freight charges for these locations will be displayed in your cart on checkout. If your delivery address is rural or our couriers can't service your area, we will ship via Australia Post. International shipping is currently limited to Revv Amplification products for New Zealand, with freight calculated at checkout. Purchasers are responsible for all incoming taxes and customs charges.
