JHS took its best-known overdrive a step further with the Morning Glory Clean, aiming to redefine what "transparent" means for a pedal — with clearer pick attack, improved low end and more versatile gain stacking as a result. The idea started at a soundcheck in Chicago, watching Julian Lage dial in his tone through a vintage Fender amp and Collings semi-hollow guitar, adjusting pickup heights and stage position in search of the right balance. Lage has used a Morning Glory for years and is a big part of why it ended up on jazz pedalboards worldwide; talking with him afterwards about what he looks for in an overdrive set off the idea of building a better version. Any type of clipping changes pick attack and narrows dynamics, even in a transparent overdrive — so rather than adding a simple clean-blend knob, JHS rebuilt the Morning Glory around a studio-grade parallel clean blend from the ground up. The Clean control uses a dual-gang potentiometer so clean gain scales proportionally with the drive signal, letting the Morning Glory's boosted higher harmonics and soft compression stay in place while the natural low end is dialled back in — without volume jumps or phase issues as the blend is adjusted. The power section runs on a ±9V dual supply, the same topology as the Morning Glory V4, giving more headroom than the original V1 circuit or any other Bluesbreaker-style pedal. The Tone control affects only the overdrive path, leaving the parallel clean signal untouched.

What are the shipping costs for WA, NT, TAS, and New Zealand?
Free shipping is not available to WA, NT, TAS, or New Zealand. Freight charges for these locations will be displayed in your cart on checkout. If your delivery address is rural or our couriers can't service your area, we will ship via Australia Post. International shipping is currently limited to Revv Amplification products for New Zealand, with freight calculated at checkout. Purchasers are responsible for all incoming taxes and customs charges.
How long does shipping take?
