The JHS Little Black Amp Box is a palm-sized volume utility that lets you tame a screaming-loud tube amp without a bulky, expensive load box or attenuator. Simply run it through your amp's series effects loop to control how much signal reaches the power section, pushing the front end hard while keeping overall volume at bedroom-friendly levels.
Highlights
- Compact effects-loop attenuator for taming amp volume without a bulky external load box
- Pushes the front end of your amp harder for natural, high-gain tone at lower volumes
- Passive design — requires no external power
- Fits in the palm of your hand at just 3.6 x 1.5 x 1" (9.1 x 3.8 x 2.5cm)
- Must be used in a series effects loop only — not compatible with a parallel loop
- Simple, single-purpose volume utility for bedroom-friendly practice
