The Guild B-240E is part of the Westerly Collection, drawing on Guild's history of acoustic bass design since the 1970s. It's built with a solid Sitka spruce top over an arched mahogany back and mahogany sides, giving it a big, workhorse acoustic tone, and can be amplified through the onboard Guild/Fishman BT-1 pickup system. The bass features a Pau Ferro fingerboard and bridge, a slim C-shape neck profile, bone nut and saddle, a tortoiseshell pickguard and a mother-of-pearl rosette, finished in natural satin.
