The Electro-Harmonix SYNTH9 transforms your guitar or bass tone into that of a vintage synthesiser, using nine presets that emulate popular synth sounds. It works without mods, special pickups or MIDI, and is best placed first in the effects chain, with modulation, delay and reverb layered afterward. Setting the guitar's pickup selector to the bridge pickup and the pedal's volume knob up to 10 gets the best results, and a built-in compressor stays always active on synth sounds, removing the need for an extra compressor in the signal chain.
Highlights
- 9 presets emulate many popular synthesiser sounds
- Works without mods, special pickups or MIDI on guitar or bass instruments

- Pairs with B9 or C9 organ machines, KEY9 electric piano machines and MEL9 tape-relay machines for a customised mega-keyboard setup
- Built-in compressor stays always active on synth sounds
- Comes with an EHX 9.6DC-200 power supply
