The Cort Action Deluxe is built with quality materials, components and craftsmanship at an accessible price point, running Cort's own Powersound pickup set for a strong fundamental low end suited to both classic fingerpicked tones and more aggressive playing. Active electronics come from the Markbass MB-1 preamp, whose transparent boost preserves the natural resonance of the timber rather than colouring it, delivering smooth lows, full-bodied mids and bell-like highs. The bolt-on ash body pairs with a hard maple neck and Jatoba fingerboard for a balanced, resonant platform.
Highlights
- Cort Powersound Pickup Set with a firm midrange front pickup for fingerpicking and a punchier rear pickup for slap and aggressive playing
- Markbass MB-1 active 3-band EQ for a transparent, uncoloured tonal boost
- Bolt-on ash body construction
- Hard maple neck with a Jatoba fingerboard, 15.75" (R400) radius
- 24 frets with white dot inlays
- Die-cast tuning machines and black hardware, finished in Open Pore Natural
