TC Electronic was started by two brothers Kim and John Rishoj from Denmark in 1976. Both musicians, they built the Stereo Chorus/Flanger guitar pedal which has remained in production for over 40 years. In 1985 they developed a range of rack mounted effects processors, including the iconic TC2290. Regarded as one of the best sounding delay units ever designed. In 1998 the TC Group is formed which includes such products as Tannoy, Lake, TC Helicon and Lab Gruppen. In 2000 System 6000, TC Electronic’s innovative dynamics and effects processor, takes the pro audio world by storm, followed by the Ditto Looper pedal in 2013 and then in 2015 the company was acquired by Music Tribe.
