A Boss VB-2 Japan-spec is the original, vintage 1982-1986 Boss VB-2 Vibrato pedal, manufactured in Japan. This sought-after, all-analog pedal is known for its expressive pitch-shifted vibrato, including a rare LATCH/UNLATCH mode. Key features include knobs for Rate, Depth, and Rise Time, along with a standard mode switch for LATCH and UNLATCH effects.

Vintage Original:The "Japan-spec" refers to the first run of the VB-2, produced in Japan before Boss moved manufacturing to Taiwan around 1990.

Analog Circuitry:The VB-2 utilizes fully analog components for a rich, musical vibrato tone.

The pedal's unique LATCH mode allows the vibrato to be turned on and off by pressing the pedal switch. In UNLATCH mode, the vibrato is only active while the pedal is held down.
Controls:- RATE: Adjusts the speed of the vibrato.

- RISE TIME: Determines how quickly the vibrato effect reaches its maximum depth when engaged

Free shipping is not available to WA, NT or TAS. Freight charges to these locations will be displayed in the cart on checkout. If your delivery address is rural, or our couriers can not service your area, we will ship via Australia Post.
