The BOSS SP-1 Spectrum is a vintage, single-band parametric equalizer pedal, popular for boosting specific frequencies to cut through a mix, with a fixed boost for a selected band of 500Hz to 5kHz controlled by the Spectrum knob and a level control via the Balance knob. Key specifications include aĀ 9V DC power requirement, 3.5mA current draw, 220kĪ© input impedance, and over 600kĪ© output load impedance.Ā It also features a battery check lamp and an FET switching system for effect changeover.Ā Ā
