The Boss HR-2 Harmonist (1994–1999) is a discontinued, intelligent pitch-shifter pedal designed to add one or two voices of musically correct harmony (3rds, 5ths, etc.) based on a selected key. It offers two-voice (A/B) harmonies with up to one octave of adjustment up or down, ideal for creating lush, multi-part guitar lines.
- Intelligent Harmony: Detects the scale of the instrument to output appropriate harmonies based on a selected key.
- Dual Voices: Features independent LEVEL and VOICE knobs for two distinct harmony parts (A and B).
- Operation: Capable of 3-part harmonies (original note + two shifted notes) or 2-part harmonies (using Detune).
- Connections: Includes Input, Output A/B (stereo), and a dedicated Detector In jack.
- Tracking: Known for being an early, accurate intelligent pitch shifter, though it can exhibit tracking inconsistencies
- Adding harmonies to single-note lines.
- Creating thick detuned sounds (similar to chorus).
- Simulating multi-guitar harmonies as a solo performer.
Note: The HR-2 is often considered an "underrated" pedal and was succeeded by units like the PS-5 and PS-6, but it is unique for its specific dual-channel intelligent, harmonizing capabilities.

Some large and bulky items attract a freight charge. Most shipping costs for these items will be displayed on checkout. Some products we request you call first for a quote before purchasing. Thanks.
Free shipping is not available to WA, NT, TAS or New Zealand. Freight charges to these locations will be displayed in the cart on checkout. If your delivery address is rural, or our couriers can not service your area, we will ship via Australia Post.

Delivery Time
