Boss BF-2 Flanger Pedal- Taiwan - November 1994 - Orange Label ( NO BOX) ( Pre Owned ) DG80698

A "Boss BF-2 Taiwan spec" refers to a Boss BF-2 Flanger pedal manufactured in Taiwan, which typically uses an orange label and was produced between 1990 and 2001. These pedals often require a Boss PSA power supply (or a modified circuit for standard supplies) to operate correctly. The Taiwan-made units share the same internal components and controls (Manual, Depth, Rate, Resonance) as their Japanese counterparts, offering a classic flanger sound with capabilities from subtle chorus-like tones to "jet-plane" swooshes.

Key Characteristics of Taiwan-Made BF-2 Pedals:

• Label:  Usually features an orange label, distinguishing it from the earlier Japanese-made "black label" units.
• Power: Originally designed for older Boss ACA power supplies. Many units may require a mod to work with standard 9V PSA-style power supplies. ,
• Internal Components: Share the same circuitry and basic design as the "Made in Japan" versions.

• Analog Circuitry: Like all BF-2s, these are analog pedals.
• Controls: They feature Manual, Depth, Rate, and Resonance (Res) knobs to shape the flanger effect.

Sound and Effect

• The BF-2 produces flanging effects that can range from mild chorus-like sounds to intense "jet plane" swooshes.
• The Resonance (Res) knob controls the feedback or intensity of the effect.
