A Boss OD-2 Turbo Overdrive manufactured in June 1990 was a standard model produced from 1985 to 1995, featuring two modes for different gain levels and a circuit without op-amps. These pedals could be made in Japan or Taiwan. The pedal offers a classic overdrive sound with the turbo off and a high-gain, compressed tone for lead work when the turbo is on.
- Two Modes: The "Turbo" switch provides two distinct overdrive characters: a clean, classic overdrive (similar to the OD-1) and a higher-gain, compressed sound for solos.
- No Op-Amps: Unlike the OD-1, the OD-2 uses discrete components, a circuit that would later appear in the OD-3 and Blues Driver pedals.
- Production Period: The OD-2 was produced from 1985 to 1995, making a June 1990 model a mid-production unit.
- Controls: It features controls for Drive, Tone, and Level.

Free shipping is not available to WA, NT or TAS. Freight charges to these locations will be displayed in the cart on checkout. If your delivery address is rural, or our couriers can not service your area, we will ship via Australia Post.
