This guitar is in excellent condition.
The PGM301 is a PGM Series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 2003. It is a signature model of American hard rock/ heavy metal guitarist Paul GilbertIt was made in Japan by FujiGen and is based on the RG platform.
The PGM301 features a basswood body with painted f-holes bolted to a maple neck with a reverse headstock and a 24-fret maple fingerboard with black dot position markers. Components include DiMarzio pickups with a pair of PAF Pro humbuckers flanking a JEM single coil, a Gotoh GTC101 fixed bridge with through-body string routing and Gotoh tuning machines.
For 2005 the one-piece maple neck was replaced with a five-piece laminated maple and walnut construction.
The PGM300is a similar model with a tremolo bridge. The story goes that Gilbert himself made the first PGM301 by replacing the tremolo on one of his PGM300s with a fixed bridge.
